<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was against\nthis backdrop, and with a great deal of pride and a deep sense of commitment,\nthat Porto Business School once more rose to the appealing challenge by the\nAltri Academy to jointly develop the Growth Program for Altri High Potentials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the fortunate\nname implies, the program was designed for young personnel who have a great\npotential for challenge by the Altri Academy<\/h3><\/div><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Launching this\nprogram makes even more sense if we take it in conjunction with the\nBreakthrough Program for Altri Future Leaders, held in 2014\/15 in the form of a\npartnership between Porto Business School and Altri, which was geared towards\nmore senior personnel who have, generally, been with the group for longer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Taking into\naccount the profile of the participants and the strategic goals to develop the Altri\nGroup\u2019s human capital, Porto Business School and the Altri Academy drew up a\nprogram with the following features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Duration: 48\nhours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Number of\nparticipants: distributed among two classes <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Locations\nhosting the training initiatives: Porto, Tomar, Furadouro and Figueira da Foz\n(Kick Off and Follow Up)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Subjects\/Topics:\nLeadership; Working Together; Confidence &amp; Self Improvement; Feedback as a\nGift; Negotiation; Basics of Management; Financial Topics and Management\nIndicators<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Teaching\nmethods: Presentations by teaching staff; Case studies; Role Playing;\nSelf-testing exercises; Action Learning Groups; Master Ideas Board and Personal\nRoadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The features\nof the program described aimed to fulfil the following critical success\nfactors:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Ensuring the\nprogram was in line with the Altri Group\u2019s strategic and operational ambition,\nmeaningfully achieved via human capital, information capital and organisational\ncapital, (leadership, culture, alignment, team work and cooperation), in a\nrobust and accurate manner, with commitment and pride in being part of the\nGroup;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Mobilising and\ntraining participants to handle major individual and Group challenges, via\ncritical behavioural skills (leadership, teamwork and cooperation, negotiation,\nself-awareness, emotional intelligence and individual productivity) and general\nmanagement, accounting and financial skills, as relevant for today\u2019s executive\nmanagers. the teaching staff and participants jointly focused on the\nteaching methods, namely the Personal Roadmap (individual commitment towards\nimprovement, made by each participant) and the MIB \u2013 Master Ideas Board\n(challenges, ideas and suggestions for improvement presented by the\nparticipants, impacting on the Altri Group).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The classroom\nlessons kicked off in September and ran through until December 2018, and the\nprogram will now enter its Follow-Up stage to assess its impact on the\nindividual and team skills of the participants, and therefore on their\nindividual and organisational performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From our\nstandpoint \u2013 Coordinators, Teaching Staff and Program Manager \u2013 the program\nwent very well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants\nwere a major factor in the success of this program, with their very active\npresence, their excellent contributions, and a selfless sharing of their\nknowledge and academic, professional and life experiences, which all went to\nmake up an exceptional group dynamic and a winning culture\u2026 and this makes us\nvery happy, very grateful and a little nostalgic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, commitment towards\nimprovement, made by each participant) and the MIB \u2013 Master Ideas Board\n(challenges, ideas and suggestions for improvement presented by the\nparticipants, impacting on the Altri Group).<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The classroom\nlessons kicked off in September and ran through until December 2018, and the\nprogram will now enter its Follow-Up stage to assess its impact on the\nindividual and team skills of the participants, and therefore on their\nindividual and organisational performance.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- participants\nwere a major factor in the success of this program, with their very active\npresence, their excellent contributions, and a selfless sharing of their\nknowledge and academic, professional
