Since 7 May 2001, so nearly 24 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does your daily routine at the company involve?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of mechanical maintenance, the day starts with the Kaizen meeting, where we assess the situations that require daily analysis and follow-up. I also manage various ongoing processes, such as shutdowns, planning, repairs, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does it mean to you to have been highlighted as an example of safety within your company?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means recognition and added responsibility, as I will continue striving to minimise potentially unsafe situations that could lead to incidents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What challenges do you face in promoting safety in the workplace, and how do you overcome them?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenges are constant, as hazards and, consequently, risks are always present. It is essential to carry out a risk assessment \u2013 brief in some cases, more thorough in others \u2013 to anticipate what might happen in any given task or action, regardless of its nature. If we can avoid near misses, we will certainly reduce the likelihood of actual incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What measure would you prioritise to achieve Zero Accidents?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We must continue working on technical aspects, but above all, we must address ehavioural aspects. It\u2019s a continuous and never-ending effort\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false,"raw":"\n

Desde o dia 7 de maio de 2001, portanto, h\u00e1 quase 24 anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No que consiste o seu dia a dia na empresa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em termos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica, come\u00e7amos o dia com a reuni\u00e3o Kaizen, onde avaliamos diariamente as situa\u00e7\u00f5es que necessitam de an\u00e1lise e seguimento. Al\u00e9m disso, dou continuidade a diversos processos, como paragens, planeamentos, recupera\u00e7\u00f5es, entre outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O que significa para si ter sido apontado como exemplo de seguran\u00e7a na sua empresa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significa reconhecimento e uma responsabilidade acrescida, pois vou continuar a lutar e a trabalhar para minimizar situa\u00e7\u00f5es potencialmente inseguras que possam causar incidentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que desafios enfrenta ao promover a seguran\u00e7a no ambiente de trabalho e como os supera?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os desafios s\u00e3o constantes, pois os perigos e, consequentemente, os riscos est\u00e3o sempre presentes. \u00c9 fundamental fazer uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de riscos \u2013 breve em alguns casos, mais exaustiva noutros \u2013 para prever o que pode acontecer em qualquer trabalho ou a\u00e7\u00e3o, seja ela qual for. Se conseguirmos evitar os quase-incidentes, com certeza diminuiremos muito a probabilidade de ocorrerem incidentes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que medida implementaria de forma priorit\u00e1ria para alcan\u00e7ar os Zero Acidentes?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
