Supported by AICEP, the project will enable an annual production capacity of 180,000 tonnes, positioning the Group among the leading European producers of this type of fibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conversion of the facility \u2013 currently dedicated to paper pulp production \u2013 is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Once operational, Altri\u2019s total installed capacity will exceed 300,000 tonnes per year, entirely geared towards export markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Soluble fibres, which are biodegradable and have a lower environmental footprint, are also used in the pharmaceutical, food and packaging sectors. The global DWP market is currently valued at around \u20ac6 billion and is projected to grow to \u20ac7.6 billion by 2033.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
